Thats not how it works. Try "sage -f ntl"

It works. But:

libtool: install: ranlib /home/jm58660/sage-6.3/local/lib/libntl.a
libtool: finish: PATH="/home/jm58660/sage-6.3/src/bin:/home/jm58660/sage-6.3/local/bin:/usr/lib64/qt-3.3/bin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/bin:/bin:/usr/local/sbin:/usr/sbin:/home/jm58660/bin:/sbin" ldconfig -n /home/jm58660/sage-6.3/local/lib ldconfig: Can't link /home/jm58660/sage-6.3/local/lib//home/jm58660/sage-6.3/local/lib/libtatlas.so to libtatlas.so ldconfig: Can't link /home/jm58660/sage-6.3/local/lib//home/jm58660/sage-6.3/local/lib/libsatlas.so to libsatlas.so

This is not copypaste-error. Somewhere is bug like $SOMEPATH$SOMEPATH where should be only $SOMEPATH.
