I should mention that this kind of error was reported on http://trac.sagemath.org/sage_trac/ticket/13143 but nobody was able to say exactly where the problem lies. Now we know, it's Firefox-specific.
I can also add that on OSX 10.5 with Firefox version 3.6.28 the situation is the same. Anyhow, the workaround ---use another browser--- is there...
