What is the problem with copying something from trac? Do we have a license statement for material on trac? I guess if not, then it is all copyrighted by the respective owners and should not be copied; but if we're insisting that material can't be copied without permission (from who?), then that puts us in a bit of a bind when we want to archive, when we want to move to a different system, etc. When do we need permission?

On the other hand, individual comments probably are not subject to copyright, while the site as a whole might be. I don't know the ins and outs of this, but it seems shaky ground that we (who?) claim copyright protection (on what specifically?).

Thanks,

Jason
