Making essentially a 4.8.1 release? I would be happy with that. Perhaps I should have pushed harder for this, but I underestimated the work going into 5.0. FWIW this is my favorite unless 5.0 will be out within, say, a few weeks. The change is trivial, so it might be easiest to open the app and make the change manually. That wouldn't require rebuilding everything on all the different architectures. Unfortunately, I think the disk images are read only so they would have to be re-imaged. For those following along at home, the ticket is http://trac.sagemath.org/sage_trac/ticket/12161 > * Remove the Sage app from the website There is already warning, and I would prefer to post instructions as below, since it's not really _that_ in the sense that there is an easy work around. > * Post instructions as above and fully expect the user to follow them. This is my second favorite choice now that we know how to work around the problem. It might be good if there was some way to certify that they read the instructions rather than just downloading. Like an EULA. Of course people would probably ignore it just like an EULA. :-) -Ivan Andrus -- To post to this group, send an email to sage-devel@googlegroups.com To unsubscribe from this group, send an email to sage-devel+unsubscr...@googlegroups.com For more options, visit this group at http://groups.google.com/group/sage-devel URL: http://www.sagemath.org
