Hi,

The default app download of Sage on OS X is still broken. The
problem -- which has been pointed out before -- is that the GUI app
sets the PATH incorrectly, and starting up sage totally fails (e.g.,
to create the $HOME/.sage directory). One can work around this
problem by:

   1. completely exiting *all* Terminal processes,
   2. start Terminal run this once
             /Applications/Sage-4.8.*/Contents/Resources/sage/sage
   3. Now things work.

I find it a little depressing that currently maybe every single person
in the world who tries to install the Sage app on a new OS X computer
discovers that Sage is totally broken, and likely gives up. Today,
when I saw this happen, I was able to sort it out for the person. So
at least there is one new Sage OS X user.

OPTIONS:

    * Fix the problem and post a fixed binary
    * Remove the Sage app from the website
    * Post instructions as above and fully expect the user to follow them.

Any thoughts?
