The current status is: Sage works out of the box on openSUSE, since sage-4.8.alpha5. Reason: Trac ticket #12131. Probably one couldn't say "fully supported", since I guess there is no openSUSE in the build farm. However, one should say "expected to work", and in fact I work with Sage under openSUSE 12.1.
