Someone with experience in developing windows software could probably
easily produce a windows program/script that pops up a browser window
and points it at the right URL? If you want to do it via a magic URL
you could let the script log in to the virtual machine and get the
notebook. Or run a daemon on the virtual machine listening on a port
and responding with magic urls? Then the windows program only has to
do a minimal amount.
