You might want to make your own thread ;-) My new ATLAS spkg will be much friendlier to build. It can also more easily use the OS-provided ATLAS libraries. In particular, I'm using them all the time on Fedora. Amazon probably doesn't include the libraries in their base install, but you could probably just copy the RHEL/CentOS library.
