(a) Is this hash something you want the world to see? (I have only a
partial understanding of OpenID.) You can see my general level of
paranoia means I won't publish it here.
(b) Do I want to collect 30 worksheets from students and then import
them into my notebook where every user has a name that is a hash? (I
have enough experience to have a complete understanding of my answer
to this question.)
Again, its a great feature, but I wonder if it is being employed
properly and if we'd do better with some sort of user manager to hide
it a bit better.
The Google/Yahoo/Blogger buttons are going to be irresistible...
I think we can easily comment the OpenID out of the html template if
the profile stuff isn't written by the time we incorporate the flask
notebook into Sage.
Wouldn't it be possible to get the real name of the user instead of the id ?
I know nothing about those but a little googling seems to indicate that it is
possible.
As I understand it, you can ask for it from the OpenID server, but
there's no guarantee you'll get it. Usually what is done, IIRC, is that
you immediately send the new user to a Profile creation page where you
ask them what they want their username to be.
