Yes, in a browser, most likely Firefox. "Unprepared document" could be anything anywhere, including a displayed .pdf file (within a browser tab). The file that it is in shouldn't matter, it is just highlighted text and I think once it is highlighted it is in the (OS's) clipboard. I am not sure if it would be a browser plug-in or whatever it is that tools attach to to use the clipboard (in M/S Windows) contents.
