Some more details: http://wiki.sagemath.org/TeXmacs (apparently you have to install the Sage plugin. I tried it quickly, and something didn't seem to be working right, as I didn't see the Sage session in the menu...)

Or maybe I'm completely misunderstanding what you are suggesting.
