FYI:  This gd issue also happens on eno, which is the main build
machine on Skynet (our build farm), which is a Fedora 12 machine.
This is probably the first release of Sage ever that doesn't work on
eno.   Oops.

I'm not sure how we managed to do a release without testing that it
even works on eno (skynet).   Hmm.

I like all the talk about checklists on sage-devel recently:
checklists are good, and would prevent this sort of thing.

I hope there is a minor 4.3.5 bugfix release that deals with this.
