Good.  The new Sage notebook is here now.   http://nb.sagemath.org/
I recommend you start with the newest one here:
  http://sage.math.washington.edu/home/wstein/patches/sagenb/
(which is 0.3.1).

All the javascript code is now in sagenb/data/sage/js/:

flat:js wstein$ ls
async_lib.js    canvas3d_lib.js jmol_lib.js     notebook_lib.js

These are normal javascript files, not Python strings.
