Hi, I was surfing the web for a moment and found this:
http://math.bbcda.de/contents/log/?p=3 It's basically somebody in Germany talking about making a web-based Mathcad-like program. They talk a lot about what they want and also about Sage, and how it relates to their interests. The author realized that his pie in the sky ideas probably wouldn't go to far without just writing some code, so he seems to have spent a few months writing code and there is actually a sort of demo of something maybe there (click the "try out" button in the upper left). Anyway if anybody here is interest in alternative ideas/thoughts about doing math in a web browser, you might want to glance at this. I'll refrain from making any comments so as not to bias anybody. -- William -- William Stein Associate Professor of Mathematics University of Washington http://wstein.org --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ To post to this group, send an email to sage-devel@googlegroups.com To unsubscribe from this group, send an email to sage-devel-unsubscr...@googlegroups.com For more options, visit this group at http://groups.google.com/group/sage-devel URLs: http://www.sagemath.org -~----------~----~----~----~------~----~------~--~---
