Aaron was working extremely hard this summer on the ODEs in sympy as a
GSoC, we are still reviewing his latest branch, but it should land in
sympy soon. I will compare with maxima later on, but I would not be
surprised if it's still pretty good. These things can't be fixed
overnight.
