Yes, the only other lib we build is libcsage and we don't use sonames
for that one.

Not that I am aware of, but we might want to poke the SCons people.
Note that SCons development can be quite slow, i.e. up until 1.0 SCons
did not know how to deal woth gfortran as a Fortran compiler!
