Built as an upgrade from 3.3 alph0, on 10.5.6 (Dual Quad Xeon) and  
10.4.11 (Core 2 Duo).

The upgrade completed w/o problems on both systems.

Testing showed the familiar two errors on both systems:
        sage -t  "devel/sage/sage/rings/polynomial/complex_roots.py"
        sage -t  "devel/sage/sage/rings/polynomial/toy_d_basis.py"
