Hi,

builds fine on Intel Mac OS X 10.4, this is what I get for make
testlong:

----------------------------------------------------------------------
The following tests failed:

        sage -t -long devel/sage/sage/calculus/all.py
        sage -t -long devel/sage/sage/crypto/mq/sr.py
        sage -t -long devel/sage/sage/dsage/dist_functions/
dist_factor.py
        sage -t -long devel/sage/sage/schemes/elliptic_curves/
ell_finite_field.py
Total time for all tests: 8826.3 seconds

The first one is the deprecation warning reported above, the second
and the last one are well known.

The third one is:

sage -t -long devel/sage/sage/dsage/dist_functions/
dist_factor.py[DSage] Closed connection to localhost

A mysterious error (perphaps a memory error?) occurred, which may have
crashed doctest.
         [58.7 s]

Running it again, the "mysterious error" error vanishes and the test
passes, it is very likely the same Mac OS specific problem as reported
for "ell_finite_field.py", which is trac #4181.

One more remark:
I've got native magma installs on both my boxes, so the "magma"/
optional - failures reported by the others do not hit me (I don't
remove it out of my path). Said the other way around: these new (and
all other) magma optional tests pass on my system, which is good.

Cheers,
gsw
