I am using my own gcc 4.2.2 based toolchain and binutils build on
Solaris 9. It builds every other components of Sage unlike the
Blastwave toolchain ;)

I will try it out. Should gsl build on Solaris I am more than willing
to try switching away from clisp. Let me give it a whirl and see what
happens.
