Well, for now I have not toyed with captchas or anything else. But I
have deleted about 400+ spammer account and usually check every day or
two for new spammer accounts. Once I see updates on recent changes and
some of it is spam I usually delete that user instantly ;)
I have added some more words to http://wiki.sagemath.org/LocalBadContent
- i.e. Youtube, ipod and celebrities. If anybody sees any problem with
those keywords or has some more to suggest feel free to let us know.
I have also elevated myself to superuser at the wiki so I can
reclassify pages as Spam instead of deleting them. I was thinking of
people like mhansen that should be elevated to super user so that he
also can do the Spam classification instead deleting those pages.

Yes, that would be really nice. And even email notification when new
accounts are created would let me kill those accounts more or less
instantly if they look like spammers.
