Well, numpy 1 isn't going to be be supported well on Python 3.13, so that's a bit moot one way or another. I don't think Debian is working on updating their SageMath package (and Ubuntu never had its own SageMath effort, I think)
We have only ourselves to blame for stalling on Debian effort. Until a much slimmed down sagelib-only install is well-supported, no classical Linux distro is going to deal with the 400+ - package monster SageMath is now.
