Thank Jackson -- I do have plenty of other, newer machines for Sage
development!   But as I am the upstream provider of the eclib (a standard
dependency of Sage) and regularly get told that something does not work on
a 32-bit machine, I thought I could resurrect the ancient one for that
purpose -- and that purpose only!
