I can tell you from lots of experience that you should use Parallels and
install Windows into it; don't screw with dual booting.
This can cost a  lot -- $79 for parallels, plus
$$ more for Windows to install into it.   It might be possible for you to
legally install the Harvard site license version of Windows XP for free, say
at least for the rest of the time you're a student there -- ask Arthur.

That would indeed be very nice.  It is possible.  Actually that would probably
be optimal, since it would make it vastly easier (and funner!) to collaborate
on doing the port.
