Well, since it seems to have been my fault: thanks ;)
Anyway, my planned short absence turned into a 3 hours nap, but rc has
been released at
http://sage.math.washington.edu/home/mabshoff/sage-2.8.11.rc2.tar
Since I was literally asleep William has taken over and the 2.8.11
release will be rc2 plus tachyon and matplotplib from
http://sage.math.washington.edu/tmp/leopard/
There are no functional changes in those two spkgs, just bumped
version numbers to force a rebuild due to an updated libpng.
