William, While trying to build sage-2.8.5 on ia64-Linux using gcc-4.2.1:
1. For flint-0.2.p2, I had to remove the CFLAG option "-funroll-loops" in order to get it to build. 2. For iml-1.0.1.p8, there is some autotools problem that I have not been able to track down. Is everything up-to-date with configure, etc. for this package? (My itanium machine does NOT have the latest autotools installed.)
