I've learned (the hard way) over the last two years that it is actually
easier to release 5 versions during two months that to release 2 versions
during the same time frame.  Somehow this is similar to how code is easier
to understand when it is divided up into small logical chuncks.  Also,
by releasing 5 times, there are 5 days where a bunch of cramming goes
into making sure everything is stable and in place -- each of those 5 times
is easier than it would be to do the same if one waited 2 months and
did it all at once.

Also, the help I've got from other people is generally much better when they
get to use a stable released version... it's just easier for everybody to
work together.
