Salam Aleikum,
Actually, (& as far as I know) Ojuba team has added the prayer-times
feature to Monajat in order to replace Minbar, which didn't work well on
gnome3/Fedora15. It doesn't include the many features that Minbar has;
though it does the main job. Maybe other features (like the compass) can
be added ...
Please correct me if I got it wrong.

I doin't agree with you! in fact I needed Minbar before to detect Kibla
when I travelled to France and Spain, and I am sure that a lot of
persons need it for that, so Minbar is mandatory in Sabily as I see. On
the other side Monajat is a program for supplications and not for
prayers time, and the prayers time is a new feature added to it, so it
can not replace Minbar..of course Minbar can not replace Monajat since
we will not have a supplications program in Sabily.
The solution that I propose is to deactivate the athan notification in
one of them only.
Other thing is that in Sabily we provide more than one alternative for
the same need (like Zekr, Mus'haf Othman, Noor) and it is up to the user
to use what he want, we wouldn't like to impose one software per
category since tastes of users are different.
