As shown in this link (in french), ATI cards has problems with Gnome 3 and it is still not solved. But, for Nvidia, it can be solved by installing the driver.

I have an ATI card & that's probably my problem. I wonder If brother Mehdi have one of these 2 cards too.

I tried to install Gnome 3 on an old PC but Nvidia, just a blue screen with the 2 Gnomes and normal access for Gnome classic(w effects).

*If I have some free time, I'll try it also with a 64 bits having two cards (nvidia and intel)

Conclusion:
ATI : Waiting for the driver...
Nvidia : Install the driver !
Others: Is it OK ?

For what it's worth, if anything: I have recently installed quite
a few different distros, all 64 bit. I have also tried the Sabily
32-bit beta (both using wubi and directly). Without exception,
    they gave difficulties.

1.Unity is too much of a straight-jacket. Nothing with regard to
desktop layout seems to be configurable.

2.On Gnome (3) there do not appear to be any panels; no menus can
be accessed. The only way to shut down from Gnome 3 relatively
safely is by terminating the X-server.

3.On Gnome Classic there are panels, but they are not configurable.

4.Only on Gnome Classic (without effects), everything appears to
    be functioning well.

I thought it was my system, perhaps the nVidia card, because of my
four-monitor setup. But following this thread, there appears to be
    something deeper.

Although I am not particularly a KDE fan, everything is working
    well with KDE 4.

My system has plenty of RAM (8 GB) and also enough video RAM (2 GB).

    Wassalam,
