Assalamu Alaykom,

I tried "yum install python-whoosh" in terminal and this is the end result:

Package python-whoosh-0.3.18-4.oj4.noarch already installed and latest
version

I think that the reason of my problem that I haven't the latest version of
python-whoosh, I'll download the source code of python-whoosh from your repo
on launchpad and return back to tell you the results.

I remembered that I tried the command "./configure" to check the depencies
but the result was: "bash: ./configure: No such file or directory".
