I think sabily is wonderfull name and no need for renaming it again
I think, just email mark, thank him in the name of sabily communauty for
beeing present at the conference and clearing the 'misunstertood'(I
wasn't aware that was one). then that the communauty is accustomed with
the sabily name and would keep it. and last, that's a proud that sabily
is based on ubuntu.
that's my opinion :)

yep I introduced Sabily to Mark and he liked the idea (he asked me
about the plus of Sabily % ubuntu...), also I told him that at the
beginning the project was called "Ubuntu Muslim Edition" (and here he
said "nice..very good idea" or something like that) and after one year
one guy from canonical contacted us asking to not use the word
"ubuntu" in the name of our work, here Mark said that "it is a
mistake..our mistake and not yours..there is no contradiction between
Islam and ubuntu, and you can use it, contact me and I will correct
this situation". Well at this moment one member of ubuntu-tn said that
he remember very much that mail and that the problem was not in using
"ubuntu" in the name but the use of "edition" (Mehdi can you confirm
that? I do not remember that..there is more than two years), any way
Mark at that moment said that even in this case we can use "ubuntu
Muslim remix" for exemple, he asked me to mail him about that to
correct this situation. I thanked him for his action and his point of
view about that and I informed him that I should ask the team before,
since we have a good success with the new name "Sabily", he said "OK".
So here I will ask you what do you think about that? personally I
think that the word Sabily sounds good and now it has a good success
and it is not a good idea to change it again, what do you think?
Any way I should send him a mail thanking him again for his offer and
inform him about our point of view.
