Well, sure. I mean, if we declare it's all arch specific. So if the maintainers
of an archicture (what a nobble concept, I wish we had them π ) decide it's
more important to explicitly spell out eg the endianess than try to save a
precious letter, it's fine by me. The point about defaults is that it'd be nuts
to encode endianness on x86_64 because that doesn't change
