Hi Ted, yes, the volume should definitely be non-zero, I guess 100 is fine, that was an oversight on my part but I don't see why the breath controller should be non-zero, the Matrix-1000 plays sounds just fine with the breath controller initialised to zero (I tested that just now) and the TG77 has the breath controller disabled by default.
Is it customary to have the breath controller with an initial non-zero value? BTW, for those controllers that are on/off it would be ideal if Rosegarden could display an on/off button rather than a dial, as it would make them easier to use (just one click to toggle on or off rather than having to twist a dial to above or below 64).
