I think that RG's score module is light years beyond anything available
on Android. If that was split out from the main RG, with just enough of
supporting backend stuff like simple sequencer output, basic GM sounds,
and the ability to save scores are RG and PDF (even print them or simply
have a "read-only display mode" view), it would be far better than the
best of the Android composition apps I've checked out so far.

It could even bring in some money for Rosegarden Music.

Hmm, you haven't met some of the rednecks I have in the tech world. One
of our local telecom providers (a little known one called Verizon) has
one of our best friend's boyfriends working there. He's a phone switch
administrator. Very firm believer in toting guns, 2nd amendment rights,
hunting, target shooting outside of hunting season. He'd be right there
for deer season!

I had a consulting client on the mainland whose preferred way of dealing
with work stress was to have a fist fight with whomever his boss was at
the time, then head out into the north Sierras with his horse and gun to
spend 3 months alone in the winter snow. He made his living programming
real-time security systems in C.

What, your local football teams don't count anymore? Man, I despair for
America! ;)
