Hello. My name is Rober. I am new to Rosegarden and to this list. Thank you in advance.
After recording notes using a MIDI keyboard, I want to modify them in the matrix view to correct timing and pitch. I can easily drag notes horizontally to correct timing without modifying their pitch. But I can't do the opposite, dragging vertically to change pitch when I have pressed a wrong key without changing its initial time (except if I am extremely accurate with the mouse). With other software (MIDI sequencers, Image edition...) one can usually do this by pressing Shift while dragging. It seems that dragging vertically in the notation editor respects the initial time of notes. However, what about the Matrix editor? I searched this list and the manual before asking, but maybe it is already written somewhere. If so, please point me in the right direction. Thanks. Rober.
