I need a brain alignment for this
- realworld midi synthesizer connected via USB - it is also connected to an amplified speaker on its own - set up as best I can in Qjackctl - set up rosegarden to use synth as midi input & output - arm a rosegarden track for recording from midi device - play a few notes - can hear the notes through speakers - the new segment is being created - the track is set up as General-Midi #1 - play back the segment and hear the synth in the speakers up to now no problem, it looks like someting is working Now I reassign an other already existing segment from ZynAdd to GeneralMidi #3 but cannnot for the life of me hear that segment coming out the synth on playback (doesn't matter what GeneralMidi # I give it to. What am I missing?
