Hello,

i just got a really bad bug : after 20 min of MIDI recording from my
keyboard i noticed that Rosegarden had partially crashed during my
recording.
Rosegarden process was using near 100% of CPU but i could still click on
Stop recording but then the interface didn't respond any more and i
can't save the recording. I saw that rosengarden was flooding me with :

WARNING: SegmentNotationHelper::makeNoteViable(): No valid split for
event of duration 255 at 264445 (split duration 480), ignoring remainder
WARNING: This is probably a bug; fix required
WARNING: SegmentNotationHelper::makeNoteViable(): No valid split for
event of duration 255 at 264445 (split duration 480), ignoring remainder

And currently the process is more or less running :

manuel 5161 0.0 0.0 0 0 ? ZN 19:59 0:00
[rosegarden] <defunct>
manuel 13151 0.0 0.0 0 0 ? ZN 20:25 0:00
[rosegarden] <defunct>
manuel 30065 98.0 8.9 624220 160500 ? RNLl 18:50 181:28 rosegarden

My question is to know if there could be a way to recover my recording ?
I saw that there is an autosave option in Preferences box. Do this apply
to recording that aren't yet saved ? In this case where could be found
these autosave ?

I'm running version 12.04-1 from official Debian package on amd64.
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=642227
(btw i saw this bug might be fixed in experimental ; i should update
because i still had some lag with Rosegarden but never some data lost)

I would be very gratefull if you may help me to retrieve this very bad
issue. Please let me known if you need more informations.

Thanks

Manu
