Position opening: Datacenter Cooling Pre-Sales Specialist Experience and Skills: Mastery of datacenter mission critical facilities theory and operations, including state of the art equipment and tools. Evidence of such Mastery includes granted patents, published papers or demonstrated technical leadership positions in pertinent past jobs. Leadership capability to lead peer teams in transferring knowledge and in delivering DSC roadmap over the next 3-5 years. Excellent communication skills – technical and customer, especially in front of senior technical decision makers (CTO’s). Demonstrated ability to develop customer workshop/seminar programs and experience developing presentations to small and large technical audiences. Business acumen and financial skills, especially in cost analysis for solutions. Strong Networking skills with a good “Rolodex” of key industry players (influential customers, service providers, consultants, equipment manufacturers). Field experience (presales, specialist, FAE) a plus. Education: BS + 5-7 years, Master’s + 3 years minimum experience in a directly related technical field or equivalent Industry Certifications. Technical knowledge of power and cooling products and solutions Ability to work with diverse teams and individuals Interface with OEM partners as required to implement and support HP power and cooling solutions Experience in data center management, construction or sales a plus Must be a self-motivated team player with the ability to work in a customer oriented, very fast-paced, and demanding environment with minimal supervision. Leadership qualities: integrity, attention to detail, timeline sensitivity, goal oriented, motivator Fluency in English (written and verbal)
