Dear Colleagues,

We are pleased to announce the 2025 School on Neutron Diffraction Data Treatment using the FullProf Suite. The first session will focus on the analysis of diffraction data from energy materials and will be held at the Institut Laue-Langevin in Grenoble from March 31 to April 4, 2025.

For further details and to apply, please visit our website at https://workshops.ill.fr/e/FullProfSchool2025. Additionally, a second session dedicated to the treatment of magnetic materials data is planned for October 2025.

We look forward to your participation!

------------------
*Scientific scope:*

FPSchool aims to contribute to the training of scientists in treatment of X-ray and neutron diffraction data. The school is based on intensive hands-on sessions using the computer programs of the FullProf Suite.

The lectures and tutorials will provide participants with the essential tools for efficiently utilizing the FullProf Suite at an intermediate level. In addition to covering general applications, special emphasis will be placed on the latest features for handling data from energy materials, including the FullProfAPP and Faults programs.

*Lectures:*

The school will focus on the qualitative and quantitative analysis of multiphase samples, as well as the treatment of in situ or in operando datasets, using the FullProf Suite, FullProfAPP, Faults, and external applications such as the Bilbao Crystallographic Server.

The program will include various theoretical modules complemented by extensive hands-on sessions. Participants have to bring their own laptop with the FullProf Suite and FullProfAPP pre-installed to fully engage in the practical activities.

*Participants:*

The school is designed for PhD students and experienced scientists with a solid background in powder diffraction techniques and single-crystal crystallography. To ensure high-quality training, the number of participants is limited to 30.

Candidates will be selected based on their motivation letter and a brief CV. For PhD students, a recommendation letter from their thesis supervisor is also required.

If needed, considerations for balance between laboratories and nationalities will be factored into the selection process.
