Dear colleagues,
I use HighScore 3.0c (Release 01-Apr-2011) for qualitative phase
identification from powder X-ray diffraction data.
I use the program on two PCs with Windows 7 and Windows 8.1. The databases
employed are PDF-2 2018 and COD 2013.
Till this Monday, the program has worked fine, without any problems. However,
from this Monday, it crashes during its start.
The error message is:
The application has encountered a problem. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
No active document.
The complete error log is below.
No changes with PC or antivirus program have been made in last month and the
same problem has occurred on different computers (running with Win7 and Win
8.1) with this version of HighScore.
The re-installation does not help. Starting the program by clicking on the
previously prepared hpf file also does not help.
If you have any comment/experience how to fix this problem, I would be very
grateful .
