https://www.bnl.gov/pdfschool2018/

The primary objective of the school is to give a hands-on training to
participants on PDF data acquisition, reduction, and analysis covering all
required steps from measurement to the final model. The latest python based
software package, xPDFSuite will be used for data processing and modeling.
Data acquisition training will be conducted at the newly constructed PDF, and
XPD beamlines at NSLS-II. All participants are required to bring their own
laptop computers for data analysis.

Confirmed speakers/instructors include Prof. Simon Billinge (CU/BNL), Dr.
Milinda Abykoon (BNL), Dr. Emil Bozin (BNL), Dr. Pavol Juhas (BNL), Dr. Eric
Dooryhee (BNL), Dr. Katharine L. Page (ORNL), Dr. Sanjit Ghose (BNL), Dr.

The $ 225 registration fee will cover the cost of xPDFSuite software package
and meals. A limited number of rooms in BNL dormitories will be available for
a discounted price. However, the school does not cover the travel and
accommodation expenses of participants. They are responsible for organizing
their travel and accommodation.
