Can you refer us to resources that discuss the algorithms used in an XRD searching engine. How do these software's identify what the material is when no prior knowledge (atomic elements in sample, etc.) is given? Have machine learning algorithms been incorporated in these search engines? If so, which algorithms are used and how?
