Dear Rietvelders, I am looking for a way to calculate the plane atomic density of complex structures by computation. Actually I display the CIF file of the structure with Vesta and use the cutoff plane option to visualize the plane with the atoms. But is there any way to perform a calculation of the atomic density (nb of atoms/surface) with Vesta of any other freeware ?
