Job Description Skilled individual to become a technical expert in the field of X-ray diffraction in support of PANalytical’s day to day business. This person will be involved in demonstrating X-ray diffraction hardware and software to potential customers as well as training current customers both in house and at the customer site. Job Requirements Daily functions include analyzing a wide variety of samples, teaching customers how to use X-ray diffraction hardware and software and providing technical support to customers, as well as, our sales force. In addition, the responsibilities include participation at conferences both as an exhibitor and a conference participant in the form of poster and oral presentations. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of geology/mineralogy and/or cement. Strong communication and writing skills and the ability to function effectively in a team environment required. Position requires approximately 50% travel, mostly US. Experience Hands on and theoretical experience with X-ray diffraction required. Experience in demonstrations, training and technical support preferred. Education MS, or Ph.D. in Physics/Chemistry/Geology or equivalent + 3-5 years lab experience with X-ray diffraction. Ph.D preferred.
