Relating to the recent discussion on how scientific software is/should
be paid for, this is a question I have been meaning to bring up for
some time:

Is it possible to get ISI to index the citations to papers published
in the "Computer Program Abstracts" section of J. Appl. Crystallogr.?
We published a description of PDFgetX2 in there back in 2004 but my
hard working grad student Xiangyun who led that project is not getting
any credit despite the program being quite widely used and relatively
often cited.

Unless this changes, it is the last time I publish a program
description in that place! Having said that, I can't find this
section in recent editions of JAC....has it disappeared?
