To me too, depending of what for. I have a software that
interpolate 2-theta constant step data into Q constant step
data, when dealing with amorphous materials needing to
calculate interatomic pair distribution functions. Seems to
me that Brian has co-authored a method for replacing the
Rietveld method by fitting directly on those distribution
functions, in R space.

One or the other (Q or theta, fit in Q, theta or R), nothing 
to make a cheese  ("pas de quoi en faire un fromage", as we 
say in the cheese country :-).
