Dear All, I have been looking for some time for references to demonstrate that a capillary sample setup is better than a flat plate setup in reducing preferred orientation - particularly for synchrotron radiation. (Assumptions - eg same sample, operator etc) Clearly common sense indicates that capillary should be. I have asked a number of people on this topic - although they all said that capillary SHOULD be better, strangely enough, no one can really point me to a particular direct study/reference to demonstrate or contradict this. Ultimately, I know, it all boils down to the material itself and the operator, but I am still intrigue if anyone know of any studies regarding above. Chan Ps or disclaimer: I am not here to stir up trouble between the capillary and flat-plate camps -- F C Chan Postgraduate, Department of Pharmacy King's College London Chelsea Campus Manresa Road SW2 6LX Tele No: 0171-333-4812 E-mail address: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
