Rhythmbox is a good product. It does, however, have a shortcoming in the way it handles podcasts vis-a-vis iTunes. Primarily, if I am listening to a podcast stop halfway to play a song, when resuming rhythmbox starts at the beginning rather than where I left off. Second, Rhythmbox doesn't clear or track listened to podcasts. So if I go to sleep listening to NPR, in the morning I have to figure out which file it was an delete it. Maybe the fixes to these shouldn't be default, as they are in iTunes, but this functionality would make a good product great.
