As a very minor anecdotical data point, the first time I wanted to add RDAP client support to my software which is already a Whois, DAS, IRIS D-CHK, RRP, RRI, and EPP client, I started by tackling the jCard part... and I stopped my efforts right there because this seemed so poorly aligned with everything else in the domain name world, that it was going nowhere to be sanely implemented in a library that already deals with the concept of modeling a "contact" accross different models. I can accept that I kind of drop the ball quite fast there, but anyway that is true, and since I am still planning to resume implementing proper and full RDAP support in the future, I will try to give more meat as implementor feedback later, without any ETA on this.
