Hello Frisco, You just need to get the roaring penguin pppoe software from www.roaringpenguin.com - I think it's version 3.5-1 at the moment? A not so new version comes with RH 7.2 and 7.3.
If you install the rpm (or source build), then simply run /usr/sbin/adsl-setup and configure your settings (i.e username and password). Then you simply run /usr/sbin/adsl-start to bring up the link. cheers, Anth On Sun, 20 Oct 2002, Francisco Palma wrote: > hello, > > i got a connection that uses a PPPoE service, > and i canīt find how to configure it on Red Hat,, > is there any body who please could help me. > > it's a wire less broad band system connected to the ethernet card. > i know that it uses the TCP/IP protocol, and something like QoS packages programer.. > > thanks > > frisco. > > > > -- -- redhat-list mailing list unsubscribe mailto:redhat-list-request@;redhat.com?subject=unsubscribe https://listman.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/redhat-list
