Hi All, I'm trying to upgrade to the KDE 3.0.1 packages from Rawhide, and I'm finding I'm stuck in a dependency loop. Every time I add a new package to be upgraded, 50 more dependencies are exposed.
I'm hoping that I'm overlooking some method to tell RPM to just try to install everything it needs (from the rawhide mirror,) before I try to write a script of my own to accomplish this. RPM is designed to make things easier, but this seems to be overly complicated, which leads me to suspect I'm doing something wrong. TIA -- Mick Szucs Onramp Network Services Inc.
